    Dear Coventry Branch,

    I have an ISA fixed deposit account number 71000388330001. The product is ‘OL CASH ISA FIXD DEP YLY’. This was arranged online and I have confirmation of deposit from your branch on 2.3.16, the start date of the 2 year deposit.

    This ISA matured on 2.3.18. I have arranged for the money in the account to be transferred by ISA transfer form to Leeds Building Society. However, the amount which has been transferred is £15240 which is the original sum which I invested on 2.3.16. The 2% interest for each of the 2 years has not been transferred. I am not able to phone your branch or SBI from the 0800532532 numbers because of ‘technical difficulties’ which SBI are experiencing. I am not able to log on to my account because my account number is not being accepted.

    Please can you contact me via my email address and firstly let me know what has happened to my 2% interest for 2 years (about £616) and explain to me why this amount has not been transferred to my next ISA provider. I would be grtateful for this amount to be sent on to Leeds BS and for you to provide me with the evidence of the interest in a statement now that the account has matured.

    After numerous failed attempts to contact SBI via the call centre, spoke to Tasneem on the phone in Coventry who dealt with my requirement in a most polite and efficient manner. Will use your bank again, but will consider a personal call to your offices in future.
