This is a complaint.
I have just tried and failed to book an appointment via your Telephone Banking number (03457 404 404) at my nearest branch (Plymouth). Not only was the whole process needlessly time consuming (twice I was put on hold) but at the end of it the adviser told me that there were no appointments available there for the rest of this month or the entire month of July!
Sadly, this would not have happened as recently as two years ago, when HSBC had two local branches (Tavistock and Launceston) where I could always get an appointment within (at worst) a few days, sometimes on the same day. Since then, you have closed both branches and now my nearest one is 18 miles away, with the resulting decline in accessibility and service.
I am one extremely disappointed customer.
