Good day!
Please if you can tell me how to collect a 50 pounds check issued by Barclays / Barclays Business Center / Soho Square Branch on 09. 03. 2018 if I have not been in the UK for about 5 days; I am currently in Romania (I am also a Romanian citizen); the contract in Great Britain has expired and I have business to solve at home. I do not know when I come back …
Here, in Romania, no bank receives the check for settlement.
Is there any accepted EU procedure whereby I could cash in here?
Eventually, I will send it to one of your banks (please indicate to me, please address) by registered letter and money will be transferred to an account for which I provide IBAN and SWIFT / BIC (required identification data).
Or, otherwise, (implies high costs) impersonate one of my former colleagues to collect the check and … I deal with him then …!
Which variant can be accepted? Which is more economical for me? And for you?
Or what other / other variant / variants do you propose to me?
Thank you for your support!
